As we celebrate Mr. Palmer's 80th birthday and Arnold Palmer Medical Center's 20th birthday, please join us, like scores of folks did 20 years ago. Help us create the Arnold Palmer Medical Center of the future. Help us save the lives of children. Help us celebrate the births of newborns. Help us bring the latest advances in healthcare for babies, children, and women to Central Florida. Help us to always do better for our children in Central Florida.
In lieu of presents, please consider making a tax-deductible birthday gift to Arnold Palmer Medical Center. Arnold Palmer's Birthday Gift Registry above features representative items of vital importance to our Hospitals. We thank you for your continued support of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and helping us always do better.
On September 10th, 1989, when Arnold Palmer cut the ribbon on Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women – the first hospital of its kind in Central Florida – it marked the culmination of a massive community undertaking. Inspired by the words of Mr. Palmer in the mid-1980’s – “We can do better for our children in Central Florida” – long-time residents, families, schoolchildren, local businesses, even members of “Arnie’s Army” all around the world came together to make the dreams of specialized healthcare for babies, children, and women a reality.
We are now celebrating our 20th birthday, and my, how times have changed! But while we have grown into a world-class facility we now call Arnold Palmer Medical Center – two hospitals, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, working as one dynamic healthcare entity – we hear still Mr. Palmer’s words as if they were spoken yesterday. “We can do better.” And each and every day, for the next twenty years and beyond, we will always do better for our children in Central Florida.
And so, we need your help to continue that promise that Mr. Palmer more than 20 years ago. A gift to the not-for-profit Arnold Palmer Medical Center is tax-deductible, and every dollar will directly support the capital needs of our facilities. Mr. Palmer’s gift registry above features representative items of vital importance to our Medical Center. We will use your monetary gifts where they can do the most good by pooling them with the gifts of others to help meet the needs of our facilities and our patients.
